Mata'aga Āoga Āmata

We welcome you.

our approach

At Mataaga Aoga Amata, our approach to early childhood education is centered on the holistic development of each child, blending academic learning with cultural enrichment and spiritual growth. We create a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to explore and discover through play, guided by experienced educators who understand the importance of fostering both intellectual curiosity and cultural pride.

By integrating the Samoan language, Christian values, and a strong community focus into our curriculum, we ensure that every child is equipped not only with the skills needed for academic success but also with a deep-rooted sense of identity, purpose, and belonging.

What sets us apart?

At Mata’aga Aoga Amata, we believe that early childhood education is about more than just preparing children for the next stage of their academic journey—it’s about nurturing their cultural identity through the Samoan language, fostering a love for learning, and building a strong foundation of Christian values that will guide them throughout their lives. Our commitment to preserving the Samoan language and instilling Christian principles ensures that our children grow up with a deep sense of identity, faith, and the moral compass needed to navigate the world with confidence and integrity.

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy at Mata’aga Aoga Amata is rooted in the belief that education should nurture the whole child—intellectually, culturally, and spiritually. We are dedicated to providing an environment where the Samoan language and Christian values are at the core of our teaching, fostering a deep connection to cultural identity and faith. We believe in guiding children to become confident, compassionate individuals who are proud of their heritage and equipped with the values and skills to succeed in all aspects of life.
